Resistance of graphite heating element in horizontal vacuum brazing furnace
In the horizontal vacuum brazing furnace, the power in the furnace is determined by the power supply voltage and the size of graphite rod (i.e. resistance).
If the voltage of electric heating element is too high in vacuum atmosphere, it will lead to vacuum discharge or glow discharge in horizontal vacuum brazing furnace, which will damage the electric heating element and increase the surface load power of the heating element; if the voltage is too low, it will increase the current of the electric heating element, cause difficulties to the connection of the electric heating element, and increase the power loss. The recommended line voltage range of vacuum sintering furnace is 24 v-36 v. we choose 24 V for calculation.
